Hikes

Anasazi Trail
Family-friendly, easy hike that leads to petroglyphs. Roughly 2.5 miles.

Pioneer Park & Owens Loop
About 2.5 miles. Singletrack hike shows views of Ivins, Santa Clara, and St. George.

Red Hills Desert Garden
Five-acre preserve. Over 5000 desert plants, streams, replica slot canyon, and dinosaur tracks.

Chuckawalla Trail
N. Bluff St. Red Rock and Wildlife highlight this trail. Connects to Red Cliffs Desert Reserve.

Red Cliffs Nation Conservation Area
Multiple trails in this area. Family
Friendly.

Snow Canyon State Park
Multiple trails, sand dunes, lava tubes, and lava caves.

Kayenta & Coyote Gulch
Three-mile wash trail. The Hike follows water from the Kayenta cliffs that lead to Fire Lake Park at the Ivins Reservoir.

Scouts Cave
Moderate hike, roughly three miles round trip. Passes over lava, stream beds, and Navajo sandstone rocks. Animal friendly.

St. George Marathon
Held the first Saturday in October. This marathon is known for being one of the most scenic & one of the top 10 qualifiers for the Boston Marathon.
